Please the joint action on NPLWD should give more attention to to children living with hidden disabilities on mental health such as cerebral palsy, autism and downs syndrome. Also the NHIS should waive 75% of the costs on drugs and medication at health care providers across the country.

My daughter, Faith Adooashe Yissa, was born on the 15/8/2021 with spinal cord injury. We stayed in the hospital for 6 months and finally, a surgery was carried out on her in 2022. Since then we have been managing her amidst tough financial challenges as I have been out of job since 2018. Our condition is very bad financially such that I cannot afford her a portable baby walker or wheelchair talkless of sponsoring her education. Please I will be glad if your organization can extend assistance towards her. We are from Benue state but presently staying in Abuja. My contact details are: phone number +2348033212006, +2348188306095 (WhatsApp); email: eyissa@yahoo.com
Thank you.

I'm said to be a handicap but friends call me handicapable, from Taraba State and i am 32yrs old. After finishing my secondary education i further went to the Taraba State University where i obtained a BSC. (ed) ECONOMICS, a class of 2015 and served the Country in 2016, Cross River State. Despite i was later redeployed to the Adamawa State House of Assembly for the remainning 5month of my service year.
Brother, ever since then, the whole story is on the struggles on how to survive and feel among despite some barriers on the ways just for me to be inclusive and begin to leave the average life that i sketched. You cannot understand or estimates the pains.....just am out and thank you.

Yh, whenever people talk about disability, they often refer or relate to the physical aspect of it. you can bet me that everybody you see around suffers from one or the other form of disability, just it could either be physical or psychological. Besides, is a strong belief in me that the disability in you is the ability in you and i have never saw a person living with disability without an unbelievable gift in compansation to his/her situation......to me, as i'm me, am not handicap but rather handicapable and you can bet me on this.
