Hello, I'm Vivian.

I'm a trans woman who started her transition in 2019. What touches me the most about this podcast is your parenting stories, how you communicate with and treat the children you care for. I come from an abusive family who tried to for me to their liking instead of helping me develop. For this reason I love what you do differently regarding the children that depend on you, and I wish I could have been one of these children when I was younger.

I wish you all the best for your present and future!

I like when you include psychological and sociological conjecture and analyse behavioural traits. You're promoting a lot of open and honest conversations ☺️

What I enjoy and relate to most is that you put absolutely everything on the table. Your fans are more than happy to share ideas but we could never restrict your voice. What you are doing is of such huge importance. You show us that even when we are being our best and truest self, life, relationships and parenting are still life, relationships and parenting with just a little more colour and perspective. Thank you for letting us see that with you.

By whatever crosses your mind, I think I'm interested in variety and like... whatever is new with you. Doctor who, your other friends and family, work, new stuff we haven't heard before, your little girl you never talk about, other hobbies??

Also I never talk to you so I want to say I smile every time you say "the boy" like homer calls bart.

I really have been appreciating this podcast, and going back and listening to back issues. I've heard Jess say some things about their identity that really resonate with me. Specifically lately I think they mentioned eventually, one-day microdosing T. I would be interested in hearing more from Jess about that. Are they just waiting because there is so much to worry about with the kids? It actually inspired me to finally schedule an appointment, is part of why I ask. I have really appreciated hearing about George's transition as well. I'm really grateful. I also would love to hear more about living not in a big city. That has helped me somewhat - I live in a big city but would love to live more rurally. But I get nervous about the cis - hets and their reactions and a potential lack of community.

Hey there,
I just discovered your podcast yesterday and have already binged on several episodes! Thanks for giving a voice to trans people, parenting and relationshiping. As the queer/non-binary/trans partner of an amazing pan wife and as a near-future parent, I find your insight invaluable, so thank you.

Special request time: As you have been podcasting for quite some time and you have hundreds of episodes out there, it would be amazing if you could have curated lists that gather together episodes on different topics. If there's anything I can do to help out with that, let me know where I can get in touch with you.

Thanks again, much love and all the best!

Maybe your kid is so violent because you spank him and he sees you as an authoritarian. I know when my dad spanked me, I could not trust my parents: if my dad loved me then why would he hurt me? If my mom loved me why would she let him hurt me? You can say it's legal to spank your kod or whatever but from the child's perspective it is nothing but torture from the people who were supposed to love and protect you. Having this relationship with my parents where they were the scariest threat in my world caused me a lot of problems growing up.

Ditto what Patrinia said. Would like to hear more about non-binary. Sincerely appreciate all of the work that goes into these podcasts. They are so helpful. Thank-you!

I'm a pre-T trans guy in Oklahoma, 29 years old, and raising 2 kiddos with my wife of almost 6 years. Thank you for sharing your lives so openly! I'm not very connected with the trans community in the real world, so most of my edutainment on the topic comes from the interwebs. Its nice to have found a podcast relating to family matters AND gendery things. I just finished binge-listening to all of your episodes over the last few months and I can't get enough! I feel like I know you two, and would love to meet you if you ever come through Oklahoma!

Hi, I am a 42 yr old trans woman from WI. I love listening to your show on my long commute. I have been listening since your first episodes and find ALL of your discussions helpful and relevant to some degree. As someone who has walked the path of both gender expectations, your insight always provides more reflection on my end. As a parent and spouse, I find your discussions invaluable. And as an advocate... you teach me so much. Thank you for all you do!

Hihi, nice reading the comments and seeing Maddy Love on top :
What a small queer online-world.

Thanks for you amazing podcast!

I'd so love for Jess to share some voice tips.
From the start of listening to your show, I found her speaking tone, articulation, enunciation and melody very inspiring and simply a pleasure to listen to. She's so much clearer (while still never appearing artificial) than any other faab people I know, and as a Trans individual I can read so clearly the parameters which work fantastically for her as a music teacher, queer wife to a Trans husband, and would certainly also work for "us out there" as transfemales. :

Always love listening to whatever you want to talk about because I love every episode. Besides you find a way to make everyday life entertaining, and bring up issues and perspectives I never would have considered

Thanks for the great show.

Would love to have a podcast on how to respond to people when you introduce your family member who has made a life altering decision. It would be great to have something to use as a guide. This is something I want to share with my family members who are going through these changes & I am frequently at a loss of what to say & how to say it & what questions to ask
i fully respect their descion as i will always love them but don't no how to help them

Do you think there's such a thing as coming out too soon? (Just curious)

Jess Do you have dysphoria as well? If so, how is it different for you as a non-binary person? How have people reacted differently towards you since you came out?

TPT#108 was most interesting to me as it compares reactions of yourselves and others in various situations before and after transition.
