Posted by Round makes more sense. 1 minute ago. The Minecraft world has evenly-distributed gravity everywhere you go. Cube celestial bodies wouldn't account for this. What's next? The sun and moon have square-shaped orbits around the world? There's a ton of round shapes in the game already, (Hell, even the sun and moon on the clock face are round) this isn't destroying any kind of existing style. It's updating one component of the game to match the rest of the world. Besides, square moon phases would look like shit.
