Features in minecraft aren't square, they're made of blocks, but large trees are rounded, hills are rounded. Same with this moon. If you look at a screenshot, it's still made of SQUARES, only it's "rounded". It looks awesome.

Nobody seems to uderstand the point. The reason why notch wanted to make things circle is because of the new moon phases(which are awesome). Additionally, it IS still not circular so STOP COMPLAINING!

a round sun would look nice and a round moon could be later used as a new dimension/world

I have to say two things, First the "round" moon IS made from squares have you people never made a dome or circular building in minecraft? and second to all the people saying just get a texture pack, if its not a big deal then why cant you?

I like blocky for minecraft as much as the next guy, but both are pretty equally blocky. The difference is one looks like shit and one doesn't.

It's not a perfect circle, it's still blocky just like any other large generally-round geography in minecraft
