Either of them make sense, either in relation to the planets shape or in relation to the type of environment Minecraft consists of. Round! Posted by otoduran October 14, 2011 at 12:55 am. Report Abuse Make it an option !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tho i vote for square which i think is the charm in minecraft ! Posted by rush666 October 14, 2011 at 12:55 am. Report Abuse I don't really care if it's round or square, but is the moon will be round, the sun has to be as well. Posted by Iomegadrive1 October 14, 2011 at 12:55 am. Report Abuse "I LUV SQUARE CUZ IT LOOK LIKE SQUARE" wow what wonderful logic from these square idiots. Round looks better and the phases look MUCH better. Square is a static image which looks silly. Posted by Vdizzle in reply to Iomegadrive1 October 14, 2011 at 12:59 am. Report Abuse I agree with the other guy. Just because the phases look good on round doesn't mean they could be easily implemented on a square. I personally think square matches Minecraft more, since most everything is square. Hell, the Minecraft world is flat. "Square sun/moon becauze square" is a pretty fail argument, so i don't know where you've been reading. I personally don't care if the sun/moon become round. But as I noted, I'd prefer square.

Don't go off insulting those who strongly support square when you don't have any validation to support your argument as well. And how is a circle any less static than a square?
Posted by AppleSoup: Square! in reply to Iomegadrive1 October 14, 2011 at 12:56 am. Report Abuse I don't think those phases were official, but even if they were, I'm sure they could be changed to look better.
Posted by Lumin_S October 14, 2011 at 12:55 am. Report Abuse Minecraft, a game of cubes, needs to keep the moon square. BE MORE HIPSTER, PEOPLE COME ON MEN! SQUARE CANNOT BE DEFEATED! IT SEEMS EVEN NOTCH DOES NOT BELIEVE IN US, BUT WE CAN AND WILL PREVAIL, FOR THE SAKE OF MINECRAFT! Posted by TailsFox88 October 14, 2011 at 12:54 am. Report Abuse Honestly I like the look of the round one better, but I voted for square, because I like the idea that you're sitting on a square/flat planet. square moon, round sun? or vice versa! Posted by Bahumbug October 14, 2011 at 12:54 am. Report Abuse I mean it makes sense to have round, in relation to the planets shape, but I always thought square made sense cause it related more to the game environment, so it made it stand out more as minecraft being a unique part of the universe. Posted by Tits for Minecrack October 14, 2011 at 12:54 am. Report Abuse Round you faggots Posted by Brendeazy22 October 14, 2011 at 12:53 am. Report Abuse round is beating square! Posted by kobold_fortress October 14, 2011 at 12:53 am. Report Abuse Although round looks really cool, square is more fitting for Minecraft. You place blocks, you break blocks, you live on blocks, the world IS a block. Even living things are made of blocks. How would it make sense to have a round moon, floating above? BOTH! GUYS square doesn't work in some phases and people still love square so why not both?
