So a perfectly square moon is 'logical', even though it's obvious that, being however far away the moon is, that square's and shapes of any sort really would be too small for us to interpret making us see a more rounded surface. Also saying the moon must be the same general make-up of the earth? I'll tell that to NASA. It'll save them a lot of research!  Posted by meat cookie October 13, 2011 at 10:01 pm. Report Abuse hypercube sun, it's the only way Though not all objects are square, the blocks and blocky animals and graphics are all part of the experience. A round-ish sun in a very low, blocky resolution can still fit the minecraft feel, but the square astral bodies, and square almost everything else, are part of the game that I think should be preserved. Report Abuse i swear people are so stupid. you can put a bunch of blocks together to create an illusion of a circle or should i say something rounded. as you can see if you look at the rounded moon there are little blocks or i should say pixels which make it blocky but it gives it the appearance of something round, like how mountains and hills in game are made of blocks but put together to make slopes/rounded edges.
