Report Abuse Oh, so its going to be round anyway? even though clearly square is the higher number. I think HE wants it round, hence the moment round became the "favored" shape he said "OH! ITS ROUND? POLLS OVER". Honestly, though this is entirely frivolous, I'm quite saddened to have to use a texture pack just to keep the minecraft moon.

Its just more fitting for square since everything else is square as well. As my favorite line goes "Circles are for squares".

I've only seen the poll have Square by a higher number, and it's currently leading by... exactly 6,000! Having the moon/sun round just does not fit MineCraft. It only makes sense that the sun/moon is round, since it is still pixels, and it is so far away you couldn't see the blocks. Round just fits Minecraft better!

Report Abuse Actually it's an improper non circular shape made of pixels, mentioning that it's a circle at all is simply incorrect. (don't contradict this, it is what holds together my sanity after the vote results came in)
