----- Keep them square! Minecraft would not be the same without the square sunset/sunrise! Peopledont understand, getting rid of the square moon would be terrible, I have played since minecraft original, and I'm a true fan, getting rid of the moon would make me very sad..... Report Abuse I think that if you are going to put in phases of the moon they should be round, plus it makes it more realistic; But on the other hand there are texture packs that already make it round, so I say go with square for the game default.
