My favorite rendering of the moon so far is the one in Minecraft4Kidz. Not square, but not round either. Real fun to look at.
Square or at least the option to change it.
Posted by DavidMongaloid October 14, 2011 at 10:23 am. Report Abuse Round. Looks nicer and those that complain about it being too circular dont seem to notice that it is made up of little squares
Posted by SlammerOfDrums October 14, 2011 at 10:23 am. Report Abuse Why dont we just agree on a circle that is like 8 bit so its blocky and circular?
Posted by Nolirneen October 14, 2011 at 10:20 am. Report Abuse I think it should be square cause everything else is cubed.
SQUARES EVERYWHERE SQUARES SQUARES AND MORE SQUARES FTW
i like how all the people saying to keep it square because "everything is square" fail to realize that it is made out of black that make it look like a circle, its still minecrafty!!!
Posted by dAN in reply to drex October 14, 2011 at 10:19 am. Report Abuse A moon can be round still, made of squares.
Posted by doomsage165 October 14, 2011 at 10:17 am. Report Abuse sure square is origional but round looks nicer
Square celestial bodies 4 EVA
Posted by Brian4213 October 14, 2011 at 10:14 am. Report Abuse The square sun and moon are original! Everything else looks square naturally, so why would the sun and moon be round?!?
if square wins i may ask for a refund XP (I NEVER liked the square sun)
Posted by AppleSauce October 14, 2011 at 10:10 am. Report Abuse OR you could just add a choice in the settings wether the sun in game for you is round or square. Simple
Posted by amazed cubehead October 14, 2011 at 10:09 am. Report Abuse round? the square moon in minecraft is an iconic symbol in video game history....why would notch change that.. has he been talking to george lucas?!?
this has to be a joke.
Posted by Error 52 in reply to amazed cubehead October 14, 2011 at 10:24 am. Report Abuse Um, until this poll came around I never actually noticed it was square.
Posted by Carnivoris October 14, 2011 at 10:08 am. Report Abuse Everything else in the Minecraft universe is square. It would make no sense to make the Sun/Moon round.
Posted by Caldeio October 14, 2011 at 10:07 am. Report Abuse I voted round. It's still made of square blocks you know. I like the look way better!
I sometimes make towers in round shape like the sun.
Circle all the way! Anyone who wants it square should use a texture pack.
- Personally I don't care what shape it is.
Posted by lilmessi07 in reply to Anon October 14, 2011 at 10:05 am. Report Abuse Everyone who wants a circle sun and moon should use a texture pack. The default textures should all be square. That's what makes Minecraft what it is.
