I know intellectually a cube moon wouldn't have phases, but that didn't have to stop you Posted by SpanishDude17 October 14, 2011 at 9:08 am. Report Abuse Sun BABE! Round moon, square sun! Posted by Dodestar October 14, 2011 at 9:07 am. Report Abuse But a big round moon would be made of thousands of tiny squares...at the distance you just couldn't make them out. So ROUND! Posted by Seized7x October 14, 2011 at 9:07 am. Report Abuse It's hip to be square haha Round one is nicer but square one would be a better fit for the theme of the game. anyway..just put both in and make an option under video setting to switch between them so both groups will be happy :-) easy and simple solution to a very close pool Posted by Goran in reply to Peter October 14, 2011 at 9:25 am. Report Abuse I second that
Minecraft is the best game of all, and i like the shapes as they are now. If i would like a round sun or moon i would download a texture pack! Posted by Notch's Twitter October 14, 2011 at 9:04 am. Report Abuse Well the Minecraft world isn't just ONE big square block, is it? It's a bunch of little ones. So I believe the moon should be round. Or like another comment said, just make it an option in the menu. Posted by pinkie pie October 14, 2011 at 9:02 am. Report Abuse why not just have 2 moons like some tatooine shit Posted by Djpokeboy October 14, 2011 at 9:02 am. Report Abuse Why doesn't anyone like the round moon?
It looks better, and the phases are awesome!
Sure Minecraft is blocky, but that doesn't mean EVERYTHING has to be a block.
Look at slimeballs and ender pearls! Posted by clint mansell October 14, 2011 at 9:01 am. Report Abuse people, round wouldn't fit into the game atmosphere any way. Minecraft was born to be square!
If the pigs, cows, chickens and sheep are square then the sun and moon should be too! Long live the square - the niche of minecraft! Posted by SQUARE WINS YES!! October 14, 2011 at 8:59 am. Report Abuse THE PEOPLE WHO CHOSEN SQUARE ARE THE BEST!!! MINECRAFT IS A BLOCKY GAME NOT SOME ROUND GAME! Posted by Ron in reply to SQUARE WINS YES!! October 14, 2011 at 9:00 am.
