-Just think about the possibilities with moon phases. There could be a mob that just comes up at full moon ALSO IT COULD BE THE TIME WHERE DRAGONS SPAWN. Full Moon nights could be brighter. I'd say the right way to go is, if square wins, to remove ALL semblances of roundness from the game. No more smooth hills, all hills must have sheer cliff faces of at least 10 blocks, and must be no less than 10x10 per height level. Also, all those nice round icons need to be removed, and squarified. However, if round wins, leave it all alone, and make the sun and moon round. Posted by SQUARE in reply to I Say! I'd say this shows that the right way to go is to add a switch for this to the settings panel, so everyone can choose for themselves.  It's not unheard of for games to offer a whole panel of purely cosmetic settings like this -- Warcraft springs to mind with Show Helm/Cape etc. this is a little of topic but....BOOBIES! Every example anyone has given of phases in a square moon looks like trash and doesn't accurately denote all phases.
