Everybody here who voted square is a moron because they obviously don't understand the world is made of blocks and NOT squares! and the rounded moon is made up of blocks/pixels that give it the illusion it is round but its still blocky. the moon is not just one giant block guys. and there are plenty of round things like snow balls, slime balls, clocks, cookies, endermen pearls, eye of ender, and compasses, also world elements like mountain and hills are made up of many blocks that are sloped to make them look rounded. and notch wants a rounded moon and he created this game and he knows what direction he wants to go with his game. and the new direction still stays true to what minecraft is which is 16bit graphics blocks and pixely. and everyone who says we want a square moon because its original well lets get rid of potions, endermen, dragons, stacked food, chests that animate open and close, new/better lighting system, and strongholds since they werent in alpha. thats all i have to say. round will win, sorry square trolls, you guy are so moronic you cant tell the difference between a square and a cube a.k.a blocks. When we see things close to us in Minecraft, they look like a block, if we are in our house and we look out the window in Minecraft, we will see squares all around us but a round moon. The moon would look out of place because everything else in our view would be square. I think I'm going to go with what Notch thought in the past... A SQUARE SUN!

I don't much care for the round moon because it implies a sphere and that doesn't jive with me. Also, the pixelated edges look wonky to me.

hey why dont u make a button that u can change the moon and sun from round to square so we can make it round and square in our game. Easier to decide on round, and tell the people that want square to suck it up and get a texture pack.
