Minecraft theme has always been blocks/cubes , or square because the moon/sun are not 3D , just 2D images in the sky , But if you have tried some texture packs that use round sun/moons , they looke extremely amazin g, and fit , it doesnt looks odd , please vote ROUND , it is the best choice. Well, I fully comprehend the arguments of @Dephicits; if it's a real moon (like some place you can get to) it'd never be perfectly square. No Perlin noise would create that.
So, @Dephicits: Do we agree on any of these (my responses are affirmative):
That the round moon has a brighter and better corona than the square one?
That the sun (either one) needs a brighter corona?
That the sun should be larger the moon in the sky?
That the moon (either) should definitely have phases?
Vote Intelligently: Know the facts.
