yes the sun could use a brighter corona.
sun should be larger, uh doesnt really matter because the sun is farther away from the moon so they would be the same size? i cant confirm that because who can look directly at the sun? no one.
and yes either moon should have phases but not like the "unofficial" square moon phases

If it's circular and made of low-res pixels that implies that it's a sphere made out of minecraft blocks. Option Fancy: ON is round.

Make it an option in game, with no default and a random chance for either to be the first choice, force players to choose and use the metric to select which one is the official. Meanwhile, the option stays in the game so everyone has what they want. (If I'm not mistaken, texture packs would fix it fast enough) Posted by Phy10s in reply to Bigs October 13, 2011 at 7:20 pm. Great idea! another way to even take it a step further would be to allow world generation to make make a chance to have multiple suns or moons and even have eclipses! The possible impact on mobs could be quite interesting.....
I'm actually astounded at how dead even this voting is!!  I think there needs to be a 4th option, or at least it clarrified. I want a pixelated round moon/sun... Should I pick round or square? I want it to be round, but blocky....  change is always good im with it I looks like the moon and sun are made out of minecraft blocks, i like the new look.
