Circles don't make any logical sence! I mean, we ALL know the earth is flat, so why wouldn't the moon be?!

The Moon is a very big object very far away. We can imagine it as a big object constructed out of a bunch of little blocks to look round -- just like many of us do anyway when we make round castle towers, for instance.

I say round!

I remember in the early days of minecraft, everybody's first initial reaction is: Why is everything so blocky?
and once they look up their second reaction is: why is the sun square?!
Yeah, that is the kind of charm that separates this from other games.

If you want it round, use a texture pack. The default pack NEEDS THEM SQUARES. Kids be tryin' to bring their crappy hi-def tex-packs in here...

Don't care. Will always use "apocalyptic shattered moon" and the dual-suns from Painterly Pack.

round moon made out of blocks also you should add a rocket ship so you could go to the moon
