Report Abuse if ur seriously wanting a round sun then why not just get a texturepack that includes the round sun or get a mod or sumthing add setting choice the sun and moon in the game will be changed to round to give the game a newer prospective to it thanks eveyone for voting! The Minecraft game world has to be round; otherwise the 1:16 Nether travel distance due to nearness to the core of the planet would be defunct as well as the method in which both the sun and moon rise. Beside, the circular moon and sun are still made of pixels, just as a sphere in Minecraft would be made of cubes. Keep the new round sun and moon! :D

Report Abuse False. I could make a pseudo-sphere in Minecraft. This would be a round object made of smaller cubes.
To a lot gamers (myself included) the square sun is a classic Minecraft reference. Taking it out will remove a very memorable and charming aspect of the game.
