After seeing the ingame shots.. I still vote square. I just love how they look. Also.. with items like eggs and ender pearls, they're functional items and you need to be able to tell what they are, but the sun and moon are so iconic.. we know what they are, they're the only things in the sky. So it's an appropriate (and awesome) choice to stylize them. There is Texturepacks for this ,so why care? but i went for the ROund one :D
DUBSTEP!
Seriously..... this is the dumbest thing ever. You should have just kept with your original plan and made them round. Posted by corhen in reply to Anon October 14, 2011 at 1:16 am. Report Abuse your just mad because square, the obviously logical choice, is winning
Square sun/moon is a bit of an icon for Minecraft, much like the creeper. Every time I use it to tell direction, I'm reminded of how much I love Minecraft. Posted by Sarificus October 14, 2011 at 1:15 am. Report Abuse Square moon! It is quintessentially Minecraftian! Posted by notch (not real) October 14, 2011 at 1:15 am. Report Abuse You've stayed up too late voting on this poll, go to bed right now, or else you're grounded, young man! Also, square seems to be a good choice. I'm interested if this Notch fella will keep to his word. How many times have I told YOU to be honest? Posted by kiddo in reply to Your Mother October 14, 2011 at 1:16 am. Report Abuse yes, mom...

There should be a gravity shift in the nether... or meteorites... ROUND WINS
SO SAYS NOTCH SO IT WILL BE Square is by far superior, looks sick as. Round moons are too mainstream and boring.
