why not a moon that looks circular, but you can tell that it's made up of many many squares on closer inspection? Duh. Keep to the minecraft theme of making things out of blocks! I don't really see how a round sun/moon really fits in the world and besides I personally think al the squarness is kinda the real power behind minecraft because it just doesn't make the slightest bit of sense and really seperates itself with it from all the other games... Well here was my opinion from the Netherlands but anyway Notch it is a GREAT game that has already took a great deal of hours from my life, and I don't have any problem with that.... Keep up the good work trololololololo SQUARE. I saw the circles and I spit on my computer screen. Not the best plan in the long run, although I do dig the moon changed every night. Since round things in MC are still made of blocks - a blocky round sun/moon would be fine ;P And yes everyone uses texturepacks? Square, it was the first thing I saw when my first world generated. No bots; the poll link was posted to FaceBook by the official Miecraft page 15 mins ago and that's when square started pulling ahead. Most people in the FB comments favour square.
