Okay... for all of those people who say "Minecraft is square, so the moon should be too" lemme just say this... Minecraft is NOT SQUARE... ITS BLOCKY!!! and even if Notch changed the moon, it would STILL BE BLOCKY...

I know right all it the sun/moon is, is something in the sky giving you light what does it matter if it is square or roundish?

Of course, the round sun will be square. It's just made of tiny squares.

Because they think since minecraft is blocky the sun/moon needs to be to when even the round sun/moon are still square but it is funny considering there are a lot of round things in minecraft!

No! Keep it square. Square blocks and NO CIRCLES are what make Minecraft Minecraft!

IT IS NOT A CIRCLE IF IT IS PIXELIZED!

If you have an online math book, any circle you see will be PIXELIZED if you zoom in far enough. So lemme guess, those aren't circles? Fin idiot.

its not a freaking circle! its a bunch of blocks that create a rounded shape. not circle, rounded.

It still looks like a circle from a distance because the pixels are so small though!

the round moon looks blurry and out of place. minecraft is all about straight lines and cubes. square sun and moon complete the aesthetic.

The round and square moons are the same thing just it is cut down to an octagon like shape

its pixely, which it would still BE if the moon were changed...

the round version is shaded around the edge. also the individual pixels are more obvious. i feel that this is too much visual noise. from an artistic point of view, the minimalist square is too classy to remove.
