Report Abuse Seriously, what's with people pushing for more realism in Minecraft? Screw that noise! Minecraft is a bizzare and whimsical place full of square geography, long nosed-villagers, cows that grow mushrooms, four-legged long-necked exploding green things, etc... OF COURSE the moon and sun will be square in a world like that! The only thing I'd say Notch should change is the insistence that East is anything but the direction the sun rises in, because changing around the basics of what cardinal directions mean is just mind-numbingly confusing and makes communicating direction in Minecraft a pain in the ass. option in video settings Posted by Rev in reply to oivs October 13, 2011 at 6:40 pm. Report Abuse We'll have that regardless, but not in video settings. It's in a menu called "Mods and Texture Packs" on the title screen. You can try out the beta version of it if you like.
