Report Abuse Round looks a lot better. http://imgur.com/2iFRwIt still has the blocky appeal in its pixelated texture, just like the textures of eggs, ender pearls, or eyes of ender. Square moon phases look ridiculous. http://p.twimg.com/AbpDpUMCEAArLn1.gifAnd for anyone saying that it won't be like old minecraft, i was here since indev, i just don't fear change. Posted by Gabe Logan Newell October 13, 2011 at 3:21 pm. Report Abuse Pixels are made of squares, the Circular sun is pretty much square anyway. Besides our items aren't square anyway. Posted by Gabe Logan Newell in reply to Gabe Logan Newell October 13, 2011 at 3:22 pm. Report Abuse What I mean is the pixels pretty much make up the blocky feel, so there is no need for a square sun.

Report Abuse Wow they are tied!!! Actually tied XD 21,742 equals 21,742 My vote depends on the fate of the poll... The round one is better. It still has the blocky texturrs and is still true to the feel of minecraft get has cycles and i think it makes a welcome change Posted by the bringer of light October 13, 2011 at 3:19 pm. the fact is that NOTCH does know what he is doing if he wants it round let it be round if he keeps it square let that be. and most people use custom texture packs that change the shape of the sun and moon anyway. my last thing that i have to say right now is does it really matter if the sun and moon are square or round. lets face it if he makes them round are you really going to stop playing if you wanted them to stay square and if he keeps them square are you going to stop playing because of that if so just stop playing right now.
