JUST BECAUSE MINECRAFT IS MADE OF BLOCKS DOESNT MEAN EVERYTHING HAS TO BE SQUARE.
I'm an indev player, indev was LONG before alpha, before the world were "infinite" even and i voted round, it looks better, is still not really round but made out of blocks and i don't fear change, i welcome it! So, if you're one of those fools who thinks
there is some sort of 'square' tradition,
you're an idiot.
Change is good, vote Round! a 3d cube moon would be cooler than the regular flatness Posted by airflowchassis October 13, 2011 at 3:10 pm. Report Abuse Even though it's some times hard to tell the sun from the clouds, it needs to be square. Posted by Jelyjiggler October 13, 2011 at 3:09 pm. Report Abuse Can someone actuly make a texture pack of the moon and sun being square? nothing fancy default everything but moon and sun Posted by nazukeru in reply to Jelyjiggler October 13, 2011 at 3:12 pm. Report Abuse As there are texture packs that have round sun and moon textures (sans-phases though) there shouldn't be any reasons as to why it would be a problem the other way around.

IMO, as long as they keep the texture pixellated it still fits the game very well. Also, its amazing how close the votes are right now (21,235 square to 21,238 round)...people seem to have very mixed opinions about this. Posted by Martha Stewart October 13, 2011 at 3:09 pm. Personally I like square, but, uhh, has ever an internet poll been so close as this?
