Leave it square in default. If you want it round then just run a texture pack that makes it round. I run LB Photo Realism x256, and it looks amazing. Plus people who want round could easily say the same really.

Doesn't matter what we say here. Look, square has the majority of votes and YET, it's now circle -_- A round moon makes it seem strange, other worldly, and exotic like the sun and moon are supposed to be. you just don't get it you square ppl! not everything is square in minecraft.. if you see a round mountain from far, its just round! the moon its just like a big round mountain that you're seeing from far away... if you want to create a round house in minecraft you make it round with various squares. you just won't make it square...

I know it's only a texture and I'm sure that some kind TP maker will recreate it and make it square again. besides, you're wrong; all the circle buildings / sprites in game are made from squares- they aren't round. This simple texture change has made me rage quite a bit- possibly because I care too much for minecraft and to see it get ruined like this is just a horrible sight

i think the square sun provides more immursion as if you are actually in a world that is based on squares. everything else is square why not :D
Posted by GAPDaTsar October 14, 2011 at 5:33 am. Report Abuse Round, round, ROUND!!! Thats all I care about right now is more and more realistic shapes such as oh I don't know CIRCLES!!! Minecraft isn't supposed to have any circles, period. So no round moon please
