    Ever heard of a texture pack? Who cares what shape Notch makes it in the official release. You can simply change it with a texture pack. Painterly even has multiple options for the moon.

    Minecraft is Minecraft, the sun and moon are not the very center of playing the game, saying such things is an invalid argument, same with the whole "It's not minecraft without a square sun and moon."

Square is better, since that's how it originally has been. If people want a round moon there are texture packs. I don't want to be looking for a texture pack for a squared moon -_-

I like it round, yet at the same to I like it square, I can't vote for anything because I don't not care about it, tough decision.

nah. I've always changed it to round in texture packs. It just looks better tbh. especially with phases!

On second thoughts, i dont care. I dont like any of the other default textures and always use a pack. Won't make any difference to me!

Square, because that's how it's supposed to be. If you want a round sun so much there's something called "texture pack".

The square moon is minecraft's trademark... It'd be stupid to change that. Use a texturepack u guys
