There's a certain nostalgia at this point to the sun and moon. They are the pretty much the one thing that has been constant with minecraft since the beginning. changing them now would just be wrong! :o Posted by Bboy in reply to ME October 14, 2011 at 4:17 am. Report Abuse I strongly agree
Posted by DoM in reply to Bboy October 14, 2011 at 4:23 am. Report Abuse I agree!
The best thing about this poll is that almost no one doesn't care! Choice! And if it's gonna be round, go ahead and make it photorealistic. The contrast will be cool.
Posted by The Voice of Reason October 14, 2011 at 4:13 am. Report Abuse The square sun is iconic. When you see a square sun, you think "Minecraft!"
It has been sewn into the core. You can't just rip it out like. For those who want a round sun and moon, well, there's texture packs for that. Round is Just silly its not minecraft! Posted by MarcusEFN October 14, 2011 at 4:09 am. Report Abuse Square and round. Hard to decide. Clay is round and the rest has diffrent shapes. Mostly square. Posted by Geezuskhrist666 October 14, 2011 at 4:09 am. Report Abuse how can it be minecraft if it had a round sun/moon it's blasphemy I say! Square is the only way that makes sense in the MC world. HOWEVER IT CHANGES DEPENDING ON WHAT TEXTURES YOU ARE USING. so it really is completely irrelevant. i sees nice comment and i say that in the options should have round/square sun/moon. i think i would had choice round but... square IS MINECRAFT Posted by LordNightwinter October 14, 2011 at 4:07 am. Report Abuse The essence of the mine of crafting is the square! Posted by Round FTW October 14, 2011 at 4:07 am. Report Abuse Notch should keep the round moon and sun. The square got boring! An option to switch between the two is best. then everyone is happy Posted by You do not need to know my name in reply to Twitch October 14, 2011 at 4:12 am. Report Abuse True, Very true
