So since people want a square moon, that means that worldedit should just remove the ability to make spheres automatically and people should just quit making spheres in their worlds, since it's a block world and it would throw off the blockyness of the game.

could you make the option to change between a round or square moon. in this sense everyone gets what they want as well asno complaining.(i think)

The square celestial bodies are symbolic of the inherently cubic nature of the minecraft universe. Round ones would be out-of-place and disorienting.

round is lazy all you do is copy paste from real life and you are done, square moon and sun needs creativity to make phases so square is better. Damn notch ####s up the game

Since the moon is so far away, and the blocks are so small I think it should be pseudo-round!

MINECRAFT is a block world, but whats to say the galaxy isnt? Maybe it is just the MINECRAFT planet that is a block itself in a normal world of round shapes.

Minecraft is a block game, the sun is made of block, the minecraft world is a block... if you ever came to the moon it should be a block to!

I think the game should now graphically advance into roundness (or pseudo-roundness)as the Second Generation of Minecraft Graphics. Like other people have said, we can have an option to switch between graphical generations, so when the game advances into the Second, and later the Third, so we can go back and forward and enjoy the history of graphics in this great game.
