Way better than square. :D Posted by GeorgeNippleton October 13, 2011 at 3:00 pm. Report Abuse PLEASE VOTE SQUARE! You must not be a big fan of minecraft if your voting round, I bought it in alpha, so ive had a square moon for a long time. please keep it square! Posted by Percific in reply to GeorgeNippleton October 13, 2011 at 3:04 pm. Report Abuse Just because the moon has been square for a while isn't a reason to keep it square, stop being a conservative, it looks better round.
Posted by ToasterCrumb in reply to GeorgeNippleton October 13, 2011 at 3:02 pm. Report Abuse Minecraft midlife crisis, I see. I bought it in
alpha also, but I'm capable of handling
change and all the new content Notch can
throw at me.
The moon can be made of square blocks but STILL LOOK ROUND!! Being made of squares doesnt mean it cant be round from a distance. I don't care either way. I'm just confused about why the sun is setting in the north now... Posted by Round or Square? October 13, 2011 at 3:00 pm. Report Abuse Posted by Dephicits October 13, 2011 at 3:00 pm. Posted by God is awesome October 13, 2011 at 2:59 pm. Report Abuse THIS IS NECK AND NECK!!!! GOOOO ROOOOUUUUNNNNDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Round looks a lot better. http://imgur.com/2iFRwIt still has the blocky appeal in its pixelated texture, just like the textures of eggs or ender pearls, or eyes of ender. Square moon phases look ridiculous. http://p.twimg.com/AbpDpUMCEAArLn1.gifAnd for anyone saying that it won't be like old minecraft, i was here since indev, i just don't fear change. Posted by GeckoManiac October 13, 2011 at 2:59 pm. Report Abuse The in-game comparison that people have been using is a little unfair, since the square moon and sun have clouds interfering, and the round moon and sun have been given extra glowing effects. Posted by Terkup in reply to GeckoManiac October 13, 2011 at 3:01 pm. Report Abuse Not unfair, remember, if the old ones win they will stay as they are, no glow new effects and the ingame comparison is good enough, i don't find the clouds in the way at all
