Wow, this poll is really neck-to-neck. I say square for the same reason as most others: it makes Minecraft a really unique graphical experience. Report Abuse We know the minecraft world is built of cubes, but the planet is an sphere, because if you walk and walk, you won't suddenly fall from the corner. Eventually, you will appear in the same point that you've started walking. Since it's so close, just including both in the texture set and add a toggle option in the options menu. Satisfy everyone. If you have ever made a rounded corner in minecraft using blocks, you know it isn't too hard. And since the moon is 235,000 miles away from earth, then you don't have to worry about having any sort of grace section. All scientists know that heavenly bodies mostly are not round, they just appear that way. Just sayin... Posted by Jiiprah October 13, 2011 at 10:55 am. The twilight at dusk forms circular aura about the horizon; why not have that emanation come from a smaller concentric circle? I favor the round shape, as long as it maintains an pixelated appearance. Your solution is perfect, and moon phases are a long awaited addition.
