They should be square. Think about it. The minecraft world you play in consists of blocks and thus can not be round, so the moon and sun shouldn't be either. Report Abuse the slimeballs, snowballs, ender eyes, ender pearls, apples, golden apples, clay, etc. are all not squares. and if the moon was made of cubes then it would be round from a distance anyways.
Posted by shmeethan October 13, 2011 at 11:13 am. Report Abuse Wait a minute they're right. Slime balls and snow balls... change them right now Dx It should be an option, or it should be round so we can keep phases. Even looking at the "round" moon, it's obviously comprised of cubes. Posted by abadidea October 13, 2011 at 11:13 am. Report Abuse No way it'd split so perfectly naturally. Obviously being cheated on by someone on both sides. Need to throw out this poll. Posted by Anonymous October 13, 2011 at 11:13 am. Report Abuse You already have the moon round in real life, and you still want in game? I VOTE FOR SQUARE. COPY AND PASTE THIS IF U AGREE! Posted by BlarkenShniele October 13, 2011 at 11:13 am. Report Abuse I like the idea of the phases. If it can be done with a square moon, yay. If not, let it be round. Posted by Traditionalist October 13, 2011 at 11:13 am. Report Abuse If you think people who have an opinion differing from yours should be aborted, you should have been aborted. Make an in-game option for both!!!! post the same thing if u agree Square makes minecraft enjoyable. copy and paste if you agree with it. MAKE IT AN OPTION in settings! Posted by Ellimist October 13, 2011 at 11:13 am. Report Abuse Square sun or no sun. Round shouldn't even be an option. Posted by UrsaArcadeus October 13, 2011 at 11:13 am. Report Abuse As Steve said, circles are evil! The only sun and moon that should be circular would be in the Ender! NO CIRCLES!! Posted by Addict_Minecrafter October 13, 2011 at 11:13 am. Report Abuse Square makes minecraft enjoyable. copy and paste if you agree with it. I love how all the pro-square people keep saying retarded things "copy and paste if you think im a faggot too" while all the pro-circle people just quietly vote for the only not retarded choice. 1.If the Sun is round, then the moon should be round.
or
2. The sun is square, then the moon should be square, and so should be the minecraft world. lol Posted by Moon_should_be_square October 13, 2011 at 11:12 am. Report Abuse Upwards pointing arrow A moon made of minecraft blocks would look round. If someday we have a way to get to the moon, it would be weird if it looked square from the ground. Round!! Posted by Geometrie October 13, 2011 at 11:12 am. Report Abuse Considering the world is a flat, square surface, and the Sun and the Moon seem to be circling the planet. The projected shadow on the moon should be of trapezium shape (not present when both Sun and Moon are visible). And you'd have eclipse every midnight. However, there's also the Nether. If that's not another realm, but a part of the planet, it should also be there somewhere.
