I dont see how this is such a big deal, whether or not notch makes the moon round or square people will still have the ability to get a texture pack with whatever shape they want!

I'm finding it interesting that square-supporters are being polite while certain round-supporters are bad-mouthing everyone. Not that it affects the poll, it's just interesting. Posted by Shadow_Parallax October 13, 2011 at 11:12 am. Report Abuse Round A square sun would just be too much.. Even in minecraft.. Or just like others said, make an option to toggle it. Posted by ChromeSkull October 13, 2011 at 11:12 am. Report Abuse You can explain it away as the moon is made of many moon blocks in a spherical order many people make spherical objects out of minecraft blocks. round is nicer even in minecraft Well brilliant everyone. Now we didn't help Notch one bit at all. We just showed him that any design decisions he makes will be met with divided opinions and in some cases... panic. Report Abuse First of all, he's making it round because he wants to add moon phases, which could mean varying mob difficulty depending on the phase. And I'm sure you will be able to change it with a texture pack anyway.
Posted by I demand triangles! October 13, 2011 at 11:12 am. Report Abuse The moon should be a triangle! Not enough poll options! Posted by @Jarei1 October 13, 2011 at 11:12 am.
